Great Death-Conquering Mantra - Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra (108 Times)

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is also known as Death Conquering Mantra,   also known as the Tryambakam Mantra, is a verse of the Rigveda. It is addressed to Tryambaka, “the three-eyed one”, an epithet of Rudra, later identified with Shiva. It is chanted 108 times for maximum benefit.

OM. Tryambakam yajamahe
Sugandhim pushti-vardhanam
Urvarukamiva bandhanan
Mrityor mukshiya mamritat

THE MEANING
We Meditate on the Three-eyed one.
Which is present in all of us like a fragrance. 
May we be freed from the worldly attachments 
Just like the ripened cucumber is freed from the creeper.
